No problem when starting over 900-1000m despite the spring feeling. The base is still really good, especially on the shaded side. In the sunlit forest it gets thin around the trees, but you can get down well everywhere.

Snow quality

From the bottom to the top, 90% of the snow cover was stable. The track was very slippery on the ascent. Not necessary for us today, but crampons certainly don't hurt in the backpack on steeper terrain. Above 2000m it remained hard due to the strong high wind. Below that, depending on the expo, it was firn or hard, and also a harsh swamp over the course of the day, horrible to ski. We caught it well with the descent at 12:15 and had surfed beautiful firn in the steep southeast terrain.

Risks

I found it very safe. Even on the south-facing slope, contrary to expectations, there weren't any snow pockets to be found.

Very cool weather, great views with a few meters of firn to make up for the otherwise horrible snow. It was a great day out!
But now it's time for some more!
