There are a few centimeters of snow down to the valley. Downhill runs are possible. There is increasing snow at the top. At over 2000m the snow cover is ok. (approx. 50cm)

bad quarry resin from this night. There was no snow in the area. Instead, there was a real ice crust, probably due to the moisture of the fog. everywhere above 1800m. The freeride area is lost. There is very little snow below 1800m. It's no fun like this.

Risks

The bulletin was set to Considerable for all exp. above 1800m. But from my point of view, this is a totally exaggerated assessment. There has been no snow in the last 24 hours and only a few centimetres in the last few days. I also didn't notice any accumulations of drift snow and certainly not below 2200m. There was also no wind at all this morning. They probably expected more fresh snow in the area and didn't correct the bulletin afterwards. It's hard to believe that just a little further east (Engelberg) there is already a high avalanche risk.

Hope for better days. There should also be fresh snow in the Jungfrau Region on Tuesday / Wednesday.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
