Despite the short snow break from Ullr, there was more than enough base in the Lizum and it was also possible to ski safely at lower altitudes.
Snow quality
Due to the persistent cold and precipitation, we had light, fluffy powder. This is how you imagine Canadian conditions in Europe.
Risks
Fresh snow is great and makes every freerider's heart beat faster, but caution is still advised. Even if the avalanche situation in Axams was relatively stable, you should avoid free slopes and unnecessary risks.
Overall impression
The sunshine around midday and the relatively stable avalanche situation meant that we were able to let off steam in the Lizum that day. However, the excellent conditions meant that there was plenty of company
