Until Wednesday, there was still little snow to be seen here. The base was about 10 cm of old snow pressed by the wind. In the last two days, a good half meter has fallen on top of this base. At higher altitudes with a lot of wind influence, the snow depth currently varies between 30 and 150 cm.

The low temperatures of the last few days have kept the fallen snow nice and powdery. At least where the wind has not raged. Otherwise, there is a lot of snow in the lee.

Risks

Lots of fresh snow and wind is always a great combination - for all those who like to trigger avalanches. Unfortunately, in the high Alps it is difficult to see where snow has been dumped and where there is little. So enjoy everything with caution.

Super day in the forest, in open areas the visibility was too bad to really enjoy it. The pictures of the CR are from Wednesday

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
