But there are still a few rocks in the way, some trenches and crevices still open. Going off blindly is not an option. The top will certainly be good with the snowfall.

Yesterday fine powder - today a strange crispy 3 1/2 cm layer - which you had to pierce with your shin first. Much better in the forest, as this layer wasn't there!?!?
Risks
Still pretty tense. Just like yesterday, especially close to the summit. The slope below Hohmad was probably cleared by a single snow sports enthusiast...
Overall impression
Expected better snow - got worse. Fun cruising, every turn made sure your face was massaged by the ice particles.
