Snow condition

It has been snowing constantly for the last two days. Not much, but still about 10 cm. Temperatures have risen a little and a stable cover has formed. There's hardly any wood left in the forest, with the occasional grass still peeking out. Still not ideal, but you no longer have to worry about pushing through to the botany with every turn.

Up to around 1400, the snowpack was noticeably soaked due to the higher temperatures, above that it was still good to ski. Not the beautiful powder of the last few days, but still okay. The newly fallen snow lies on a light cover, but this is not a major problem.

Risks

At lower altitudes, I have the feeling that things are easing up a bit. Unfortunately I can't give an assessment for higher up (2200m +) as I didn't get that high today. However, based on the conditions of the last few days, I would say that there is still drifting snow that is easily disturbed.

I'll be fine, the sun is supposed to shine for the next two days, but there's still a bit missing for unadulterated skiing enjoyment.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
