The masses are still lying on bottomless ground. If the snow that has fallen so far settles and the temperature plays along, then we should be ready for the next powder slump. At the moment, fence posts, undergrowth and rocks are still spoiling the fun.
Snow quality
You could say "hui" at the top and slowly "fie". Or everything that has been in the sun for a long time at lower altitudes is slowly getting a lid. Still mega powder at the top.
Risks
Still tense. SwissHeli was out blasting with 7 machines today and could hardly cope with everything. Massive self-releases during the night with leading edges of 1.5 m in places.
Overall impression
Winter at last, you could say. In my opinion, the avalanche situation does not allow a higher rating, as too much caution is required!
