Avalanche warning level
moderate (2)
Exposition
Snow condition
At the start at just over 800 m, around 20 cm of fresh snow. Increasingly upwards to a maximum of 30 cm. During the tour there was repeated heavy snowfall.
Snow quality
Fine deep cold powder!!! The best snow this winter in the Mangfallgebirge
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
The fresh snow came with little wind and lies on a lightly settled snow cover. The precipitation today came without any sleet. Only some sluff with terrain >30 degrees.
Overall impression
High winter feeling at the beginning of spring, snowfall most of the time during the tour and best snow quality with faceshot guarantee. What more could a skier's heart want? Conditions remain good as long as the temperatures don't rise and the sun doesn't come out.
