Snow condition

4 von 5 Sterne
30 cm fresh snow
Descent to valley (to 900 m)
Descent through forest
Covered shoes

Actually carefree from top to bottom, only the entrance on the ridge was not quite as deep and you can sometimes catch a branch or stone. From yesterday to today about 30cm of fresh snow. It's soft but easily a meter deep (see photo with the stick)

Snow quality

4 von 5 Sterne
Powder snow

Already damn good, deep powder, sinking depth significantly greater than the 30 cm of fresh snow from yesterday to today.

Risks

Much fresh snow
North-West

Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)

Below 2000m quite stable for the amount of fresh snow. Loose snow can get bigger, sluff can also cope well on steeper slopes.

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne
Equal

It was a great day today, one of the lowest of my season. With more local knowledge or better preparation, I'm sure I could have done even better, but it was very nice.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
