What can you say. It was pretty much all there, nice and loose snow at the top, which was well chewed through by the crowds of people. At the bottom, it was rather damp, wet snow, as it was barely above zero.

Snow quality

Hard, pressed snow
Wet snow
Powder snow

Risks

No warning signs
North North-Eas East

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

We couldn't hear any dangers in terms of avalanches etc. The main danger came from daring touring tourists armed only with a cap. Then, of course, there was the odd rock that wasn't covered in snow.

Overall impression

Worse

For me it was the first and last report due to Corona. In itself it was a nice final tour and the hunger for next season is already strong. It was worth it for fitness today, but if you're looking for pow or untracked trails, you're in the wrong place on the Hochgrat. Today it was almost a hike up the mountain.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
