Descent through forest
Stone Contact avoidable

There is a lack of snow at the entrance and some winters were certainly better up here. But you can jump some smaller cliffs on the northern slope without any worries. Landings are deep and powdery. Between the rocky terrain you can almost always find a way through with small jumps if necessary. For a descent, the snow conditions are currently exceptionally good up to the parking lot

Snow quality

4 von 5 Sterne
Hard, pressed snow
Powder snow

400m + Cold, loose powder snow on the north-facing slope. A dream. Hard snow and rocky at the start. From about 1200m surfy warm powder. Butter-soft descent overall.

Risks

No warning signs

Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)

Unbound powder snow at least on the surface. the base seems to be well set. no avalanche activity observed in the surrounding steep terrain. very good conditions for steep activities where the wind has not moved anything. beware of the warming in the next few days.

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne

I've been waiting a long time for good and safe conditions for this line. Won't be the last time on this face... You could really organize a cliff-dropping freeride event here if the avalanche run-out wasn't so dangerous...
