Not quite as tricky as expected. New snow came with wind and very windy on the ridges and summits. Snow was transported.
Overall impression
Once again beautiful powder - in the morning possibly still in all expos - in the evening only compact powder in the northern expos on firm to hard ground, not full-throttle powder like 2 weeks ago but top for April. The sun is now really strong and is quickly affecting the snow quality. But in Kleinwalsertal there is still enough snow to get down into the valley. In the valley 20 - 25 cm of fresh snow on the mountain easily 35-45 cm. A few extra ski touring days are guaranteed. Pictures (c) Martin Hölle Photography
