Descent to valley (to 4200 m)

Above 2000m there is still a lot of snow. in the valley it is melting away. but on the piste it is still possible to ski down to the valley without any problems.

Powder snow

Quality is good, but you can still feel the hard base. except in blown-in slopes above 2200m

Risks

No warning signs
South-West West

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

According to the bulletin, there was considerable snow in the area above 2000m today, but in my opinion this was clearly too cautious a classification. the amount of fresh snow was too small. at 2000m just about 5 cm. at 2300 about 15 cm.

Worse

I rode White Hare 3 times today. (Route according to the Freeride Guide Jungfrau Region, www.freerideguide.ch) the north side still had the best snow quality, but simply too little. you could still feel the hard base very well. the best were the blown-in NE slopes. FIRST is closed. Male still open this weekend. kl Scheidegg until 18.4. Schilthorn until 25.4. there is still a lot of snow. top conditions also in the high mountains. all tours are possible.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
