Descent to valley (to 1200 m)

Descent in the meiental in April to the trunk is very good. Everything is very well snowed in at the top. West-east slopes have often slid and are no longer worthwhile. South snow line estimated at 1800m.

1800m descent in April, transition on the last 200m in perfect firn. Like yesterday in Engelberg, light as a feather, not mega poppy and the deeper the less new.

Cold temperatures preserve pow perfectly. No slides observed. New snow lies on compact old snow cover. Note drift snow on the summit slopes.
