Descent to valley (to 1100 m)

Started from Realp at 1500m with the skis from the station and only took off for the hut beer. The last 100m to Engelberg up to 1100m on the north side you had to take off your skis once. So the conditions were still ideal and many things could still be started from the valley without too much effort. Steep descents very well snowed in.

Relatively relaxed right now. Note the diurnal cycle, but no other observations made.

5 leisurely touring days from Realp via Albert-Heim Hütte / Bergssehütte / Sustenpass / Sustlihütte to Engelberg. 5 days of sunshine - powder descents, firn cruising - pleasant ascents. Saw lots of new projects and the desire for tours is not waning. The winter will probably go on for a while...

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
