Overall impression
Snow condition
Almost no snow left on south-facing slopes up to high altitudes. From about 2200m upwards there's enough - but there are blown-off and snow-covered ridges everywhere. And where old snowboards have cleared the snow, the powder from last week lies on stony ground.
Snow quality
Very dependent on exposure. Only in a narrow northern sector without cover and soft, east and west often non-supporting cover. The south is more often exposed and ready for early firn descents.
Risks
Still difficult... In the last few days there have been quite a lot of snow slabs in the fresh snow, some of them medium sized. Especially high alpine and north - where the best snow is - there are often cracks, soft booms and drops. Be careful - the cool temperatures are preventing the expected quick spring settling.
Overall impression
The last few days have certainly been great for this winter. In addition, there are hardly any people left in the mountains, e.g. huts are already closed, and you shouldn't really have any more powder stress ... Bluebird + powder = great!
