You really can't complain for the beginning of December. There is about 80-100cm of snow on the mountain. There was definitely nothing like ground contact today.

Due to the strong wind, fresh snow and unfortunately also a little rain over the last few days, everything was really there.

According to the LLB warning level 1, the main danger is likely to be drifting snow. This is easy to trigger in places, especially in the summit area. This was also confirmed by our snow profile with subsequent ECT test. As described in the situation report, the main danger is more likely to be a risk of falling / injury.
Overall impression
What a first day! Even if the snow quality wasn't that great, it was a great first tour at the beginning of December.
