Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)

During a large sliding block test, 2 striking weak layers were noticed: one about 30 cm deep between soft bound powder snow and hard bound powder underneath. the second layer is about 70 cm deep between this block and the ground. between this block and the ground is a layer that has been transformed. Up to 3mm crystals of floating snow. in places up to 15 cm high near the rocks. spontaneous slab at about 2500m sector northeast. may already be a few days old. no ski tracks or similar. crack height 50cm. about 35 degrees steep terrain at the transition to rocky terrain.

Better

Sharks and avalanche danger and bad snow. Lots of reasons to hone your skiing technique on the piste or in areas close to the piste. But where the snow might be good in the north sector, it's still particularly dangerous. With the warming and radiation comes some relaxation, what could then go well are steep southern slopes that are high enough so that there is enough snow depth (preferably over 3000m) to find good firn. provided that the old snow problem also decreases here. Otherwise just flat south-facing slopes!

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
