In the Kaiser on my route much better than in Bavaria - but in the too narrow forest it is not enough downhill, at 1,200m then carried for 100m because of sharks and risk of injury.
Snow quality
Today north-facing cirque, then at the top a more easterly gully in the lee, which in my opinion was little inaugurated. There good pow for 300m, then powder with occasional break-through on icy Wsrmfront old snow.
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
Drift snow no problem here today. Old avalanche cones in the run-out up to 25m. Fresh snow on old snow was not a problem on my route.
Overall impression
Leaving from PP, freezing cold today. Beautiful cirque, top landscape. At the top a gully with good snow. Avalanche cones had to be avoided, dangerous ice bombs under Pow. Top day for me! Unfortunately the snow lacked a bit of quantity for full speed - but hey, it was fine - I'm happy.
