Very good snow conditions in the Lindauer Hütte touring area, all tours possible. With the fresh snow and the forecast of fresh snow tomorrow, a very good basis for the rest of the winter. Descent to Latschau on toboggan run possible. Fresh snow lies on hard, crusty old snow. Below approx. 2,000 m you can still get through this hard layer. A little more snow is needed to cover the mountain pines and, especially in higher areas, to cover all the rocks.

Overnight 10 cm, above approx. 2,000 m 20 cm of very loose and cold fresh snow, mostly without wind

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
Fresh snow fell without wind up to approx. 2,300 m. Close to the ridge and on higher peaks, however, wind vanes and fresh drifts. These fresh drift snow deposits should be assessed with caution. Otherwise stable conditions with fresh snow on a hard old snow surface
Overall impression
Almost perfect touring conditions around the Lindauer Hütte. Brilliantly cold fresh snow on a hard layer of old snow.
