Snow condition
A lot of snow, which is of course unevenly distributed due to the storms. Even on meadow slopes close to the valley there were considerable drifts, while the tops were almost completely blown away. The forest is covered in deep snow and at the moment the snow depth is ideal for the typical alpine east beach style of fording through dense forest/undergrowth.
Snow quality
Very different snow conditions today, depending of course on the exposure to wind and sunlight. In shady and wind-protected areas there was still loose and dry snow (very fine to ski!). Otherwise, the snow cover is quite moist due to warming and, above all, sunlight. Partly "foam roller snow". Therefore only two stars for the quality, because the really good spots only made up part of it.
Wind drifted snow
Intensity: medium
Risks
Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)
In the rocky steep slopes of the Schneealm, some wet snow slides/avalanches of rather small dimensions can be seen on the south side.
Overall impression
The sharp rise in temperature after the snowfall is already noticeable. In shady areas, however, dry and loose snow can still be found further down. All in all, today was like a spring day after fresh snow. I once set a "personal world record" for rolling on skins today ;).
