Kleinwalsertal on 05.02.2022 | htg_other as bad as it was on the previous thurs, it was just as good today. perfect ski touring day, with fresh snow on a firm base and lots of sunshine.

Snow condition

in the valley about 40cm, i would say average for the time of year. downhill possible without any problems. free choice of lines, even in the forest, possible without restrictions. no stone contact. in the kwt there are currently perfect touring conditions.

Snow quality

perfect pow, on a load-bearing base. better is difficult.

seen everything that can form avalanches. slab falls, sliding snow mouths, loose snow slides.

Overall impression

mit zunehmendem wind morgen und den angekündigten schneefällen, ab so. nacht. wird sich die lawinengefahr nochmal deutlich erhöhen.
