Definitely enough snow. But it seems to be less than in the neighboring regions I've been to recently (Tannheimer, Reutte, Bichlbächle). Down in the forest between half a meter and a meter of snow.
Snow quality
Below the summit slope up to the traverse below the Kaufbeurer Haus we found great powder, nice and fast and even. The summit slope was easy to ski but already rutted, the old tracks were a bit of a hindrance. From 1600 meters it was too wet or hard for nice skiing.
Risks
Everything looks very stable on the north side. You can see massive amounts of sliding snow all around.
Overall impression
Cool alpine tour with a very nice descent in places :-)
