Descent to valley (to 1000 m)
Blown backs
Stone Contact avoidable
Variations of snow cover

As always, the wind swept through the Tannheimer Tal during the last snowfall. Peaks and ridges left free of snow. On the north side, descents into the valley with slopes still possible, even on ford trails up to small passages. South side up to 1400 meters almost free of snow

Snow quality

2 von 5 Sterne
Hard, pressed snow
Breakable crust
Firn
Powder snow
Jelly snow

In pure shady slopes still some set powder or slab powder. The trump card for the next few days will be firn. Tannheimertal doesn't have too many worthwhile firn tours to offer

Risks

Old snow problem
Diurnal warming

Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)

Very relaxed - caution is advised on overgrown slopes when the temperature rises during the day.

Overall impression

2 von 5 Sterne
Equal

Tannheimer Tal heavily frequented the last few weeks. Standard tours completely similar to pistes. The effort to achieve good conditions is now much greater

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
