Snow condition

The fresh snow has actually made all routes possible again, but sharks are always to be expected outside the glacier areas. Handbrake on. From the looks of it, it looks more like the first big snowfall of the fall.

Snow quality

Super in locations protected from the sun, but quite dull when flattened, sometimes slightly affected by wind, in corresponding expos light cover and already somewhat heavier.

Loose snow avalanches from steep terrain due to the sun, some of which have broken into small slabs. Cold wind increasing throughout the day, watch out for drifting snow.

Overall impression

Endlich wieder Powder! Auch wenn schon vieles zerfahren war, man hat noch gutes gefunden, für flaches Gelände war's fast schon zu viel Neuschnee. Auf Sharks musste man immer aufpassen und an den Gipfeln wars richtig zapfig.
