Snow condition

Up to 1300 with bike, then unbuckle a few times. Also further up on terrain edges. If the weather stays like this, the season will soon be over.

Snow quality

Slush/rotten snow from top to bottom. Very slowing. Only in the direct northern sector was there still a light cover that was easy to ski.

Daytime and cornice breaks. There is already a lot of gliding snow and cornices below, but not everything yet.

Overall impression

Leider hat sich kein richtiger Harschdeckel gebildet. Daher eher mieser Schnee. Ein paar Infos zu den aktuellen Verhältnissen: Mit dem Rad geht's mit ein paar Schneefeldern bis zur Alpe Plättele im Obertal. Im Bärgündeletal dürfte es ähnlich bis knapp zur Pointhütte sein. Im Oytal am Prinzenkreuz noch durchgehend Schnee, aber wohl nicht mehr lang. Auch auf dem Rücken zur Wildenfeldhütte wird's schon knapp. Wildenfeldscharte sah zum Großteil durch eine Lawine verunstaltet aus. Also, Frühjahrsklassiker sollten bald gemacht werden, damit sich's noch lohnt.
