Far too little snow for this time of year and still no fresh snow in sight. You can start to despair.
Snow quality
From blown off, to hard crust, to soft spring snow, to powder, everything was there.
Risks
Old fish mouths and sliding snow avalanches were visible. Currently, however, good conditions in terms of avalanches.
Overall impression
Thanks to the excellent snow and local knowledge of a friend, a great powder line was possible today. We left the broken snow, wind cover and cardboard snow to the left and found great powder on the north-east side. Only a few meters of ascent from the lift were necessary. I was very surprised and grateful for such a great day.
