Snow condition
Very little, the slopes below Pitz Gloria back onto the piste are barely skiable. In general, however, you can feel a constant base, especially in Wengen, while the south-eastern slopes in Mürren have brown shimmering through in places.
Snow quality
The last snowfalls are still powdery in sheltered locations. Slightly crusty but easy to ski on sunny exposures.
Risks
Unfortunately, the Jungfrau region was spared the heavy snowfalls after Christmas. The slopes have to be assessed very carefully individually. Wet snow avalanches can sometimes be seen on sunny slopes up to very high altitudes.
Overall impression
It could be worse. You can ski most things with a few exceptions. Shark maneuvering is absolutely essential if you are skiing on sunny or windy slopes. The snowfall this weekend will certainly do some good, but will hardly bring the blown-out top section around the Piz Gloria to a normal state.

Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
