Tonight there was another 10cm of snow on top in the valleys. A little more further up. In the valley there is now about 30 centimeters at about 850m. From about 1200m upwards there's about half a meter and on the summits of the West Allgäu Alps around 1800m there's about 60-65 centimetres, depending on the wind even more. This makes for quite good riding. Not carefree, but due to the very compact = wet ground layer, almost without ground contact.
Snow quality
Much better than yesterday. The 10+ centimeters have done well, also the rather cold night apparently. Much faster riding than yesterday. Almost really good.
Risks
No LLB here yet. Meadows and 30 degree terrain not critical in my opinion. It remains to be seen what the very wet soil layer and the warm soil will do.
Overall impression
I had a lot of fun today. Unfortunately there was hardly any sun, contrary to the forecast, and it kept snowing until midday. Still very nice though!
