Snow condition
There was a good 30 cm of fresh snow at higher altitudes. Where there was nothing before, it is of course still not enough. Especially on the south and south-west side, it was bare up to the top before the snowfall. In gullies with old snow underneath, you can now get down quite well. However, older skis are still recommended for excursions into the terrain, unfortunately you still can't avoid the odd rock contact. With the "stay light on your feet" skiing style, however, it's already pretty good. And it's better to stay in gullies and hollows than on ridges.

Snow quality
30cm of fresh snow, nice and powdery and surprisingly not getting any worse as the day progresses. No champagne powder though, wind influence is already noticeable. But that's complaining on a high level :-)
Wind drifted snow
Intensity: low
Altitude: 2200 m – 2400 m
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
At least on sunny, not too high slopes (< 2600m), drifting snow is probably the main danger at the moment. The fresh snow was not completely unbound and wind influence was noticeable. However, it seems to have bonded quite well due to the mild temperatures and some sunshine. Even on smaller, steep terrain crests, nothing has slid along, generally no avalanche cracks can be seen in the area.
Overall impression
Very good freeride day with good snow, nice lines and hardly any competition. First lines as long as your thighs can take it :-)
