Snow condition

Sufficiently good down to the valley. Below 1500 m, however, only for coming down. Very ok further up.

Snow quality

Set, fast, cool

Not quite as safe as some lines suggested. Drifting snow, especially in the north sector. Accident very close by (Hüttschlag) fortunately ended well. Also in our valley, a medium-sized snow slab on a north-facing slope.

Overall impression

Fine day with good snow and perfect weather. Lots going on but it was well distributed. The drift snow problem was a bit more pronounced than I had expected from the LLB.
