Snow report Verbier, 11/23/2013
Skitour im Val D'Entremont
Snow condition

Overall impression
Snow condition
Not really top yet. At the start at 1600m about 15cm, but then it quickly gets a bit more. At 2300m there are about 30-40cm. Below 2000m you have to go very light to avoid stones. Towards Verbier it's a bit better, but you should also limit yourself to the higher, blown-in areas, as otherwise it tends to rumble a bit under your skis...
Snow quality
On Saturday it was pretty good and powdery, today the snow was a bit heavier due to the higher temperatures.
Risks
At higher altitudes there are some areas that have been blown in, but these are rather small. There just isn't that much snow yet. A little caution won't hurt.
Overall impression
Saturday was pretty good. The idea of starting a little lower on the tour today was only moderately good.
