I would say average, but it was significantly more in the corner. It's also amazing how much more snow there is within 100m, from 20cm to over 1m at around 1100m. Cold island? ridges partly blown clear.

The upper 10-15cm were cold and fluffy. Below that, up to 2200m, you kept coming across the rock-hard layer. Nice to ride. When it gets steeper (>35°) the whole thing slides along as loose snow.

Risks

SLF issues a 2. No large drift snow packs seen. Loose snow slides off as described above, but no problem. Old snow is also an issue here. Some old, snow-covered avalanche cones seen.

Super nice tour towards Diepen. Two great descents in the best touring conditions. But this old snow issue is always buzzing around you...

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
