Stone Contact avoidable

If it were early December, the snow conditions would be acceptable. We started at 1200 and only made progress on skis thanks to the forest road. Sunlit slopes tend to be completely bare. Stone contact is also to be feared on the shaded side below 1800.

Powder snow
Wind drifted snow

Very good in places. The sun has done a lot of work. But where the snow has been spared, there is sometimes 30cm of powder.

Intensity: low

Risks

Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)

There were warnings about drift snow and it is certainly there. It wasn't an issue for us because the slopes weren't that big.

Overall impression

Equal

It was fun and the snow is beautiful, but the snow conditions are still shitty.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
