Still bad. Some things are possible, some are not. Nothing is possible below the tree line. Even higher up, you'll always hit rocks, although leeward slopes are generally quite good, others not at all. You're lucky if you've been there before and know roughly where things were before the snowfall...

Snow quality

4 von 5 Sterne

Great powder snow (20-30cm), but completely bound (wind). Almost everywhere soft and great to ski, below about 2100m you occasionally come across the hard base or old tracks. In some areas there is a light windblown snow cover.

Risks

Critical. The fresh snow is easy to release wherever it is steep enough. We have seen several snow slabs triggered by winter sports enthusiasts. The cracks are quite large, despite the not too large amount of fresh snow. Stay on the flat.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

Weathery day, quite busy but still relatively relaxed, it was good until about noon, then it was tracked. If the base was better or the avalanche danger was lower, I would give it 4 stars.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
