Snow report Salzburger Land North, 01/28/2014
Skitour auf den Schlenken bei Hallein.

Overall impression
Snow condition
Really top!!! No rock contact, no root contact and all exposures very easy to ride!
Snow quality
Top!!!!! Better than in the Hochkönig region! Descent through the Schlenkenrinne (see photo), 30 cm of fluffy blower!!! top for skiing!
Risks
The situation report is pretty accurate! Watch out on north-facing slopes, south föhn has set in noticeably during the course of the day and is moving the good stuff to the north-facing slopes. Apart from that, I couldn't see any activity apart from 2 loose snow slides which I can't call avalanches.
Overall impression
Simply a top day! Not too warm and not too cold! The weather couldn't have been nicer and there wasn't much going on either! It can go on like this!
