There really is hardly any snow here. Thanks to snowmaking and the north-facing location, the slopes in Scheffau are reasonably good. However, you will always come across grass and stones, with a few centimetres of snow off-piste in places.

Artificial snow, otherwise hard, does not have to be experienced.

Overall impression
At least some lifts are open despite the low altitude. This means no waiting and therefore more pleasant than the glaciers. Nevertheless, there is currently simply more snow in other areas and therefore better.
