Snow condition
Enough snow on both the east and west sides. No sharks.
Snow quality
On the southeast side, everything is already pretty soggy due to the late start. If you get there early, you're sure to find beautiful firn. On the west side, depending on the amount of sunshine and shading, we've found crushed harsh snow, hard-packed passages, but also the finest powder. Only small amounts of drift snow on the west side. Risk of mid-ice/falling higher than risk of burial.
Wind drifted snow
Intensity: low
Altitude: 2200 m – 2700 m
Risks
Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)
Quite wet snow cover on the south side. Beware of sliding snow avalanches.
Overall impression
The remaining powder on the shady side will probably become less in the next few days due to the warm temperatures. Further up, there's probably still a few days' worth of powder to be found in narrow shady holes.
