Exposition
Snow condition
Enough snow down to the valley in all exposures. Watch out for sharks near the ridge on the north and north-west sides.
Snow quality
South and south-east ascent already soaked from the start (9:10 am). West and north-west faces with surprisingly good powder (we skied quite steep and shaded). Tomorrow probably already with crust. Steeper, sunnier west-facing slopes often with avalanche cones.
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
Wet slab avalanche in southwest expo. Spontaneous triggering.
Avalanche activity
Wet slab avalanche
Altitude: 2300 m
Overall impression
The base is still good. With the coming fresh snow, a few more great days should be possible.
