In the afternoon, especially south and south-east facing slopes softened to the bottom. Good snow cover on slightly north-facing slopes above 2500 m. East-facing descent good before 12 o'clock. Overall good firn to be found and surprisingly also a little old powder in the very protected area on the north side and steep.
Risks
Wet snow avalanches are coming down every hour, some of medium size. There is still a lot of snow that can come down. Ending the tour early helps to avoid the main danger
Overall impression
Good snow conditions. Better firn than expected. It's not completely soupy here yet and with the right timing, good tours should be possible
