Snow condition

2 von 5 Sterne

Bitter at the bottom. Up to about 1200m you can slide with obligatory contact with the enemy, below that nothing works. A bike is recommended for most tours, from about 1500m you can think about skiing, but you have to be careful even at high altitudes.

Snow quality

2 von 5 Sterne

Further down fine 1-5cm dust on rock-hard crust, but from about 1900m deep soft snow with very fine powder on top. 4 stars for the high altitudes!

Risks

There is no danger at the bottom and in the middle as there is no snow, and from around 2000 m there may be drift snow packs, albeit rather thin. The old snow problem is estimated to play a rather minor role.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

The top 400m were some of the best of the season (4-5 stars), below that it was rather poor (1-2). Carrying so far in February is also really hard. And tomorrow the nasty foehn is coming... But on the north side, very high up, it should be good again.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
