Snow condition
Good snow conditions, even in the forest. Hard base with powder on top...
Snow quality
beautiful pow. In the frequented areas, both at the lifts and in the touring terrain, unfortunately already quite rutted.
Risks
Since I don't really trust the Bavarian LLB in the last few days, we dug an eCt at 1700m on the north side, which was surprisingly stable and thus proves the LLB right. Above 1800m it certainly looks more critical (also according to the LLB), as it has been blowing heavily there for the last few days - there were also snow plumes on the higher peaks etc.. You shouldn't really trust the peace at the moment due to the weak layers in the old snow as well as the drifts in the last few days. St today again at level 3 (>2000m) according to LLB Bayern.... ;-)
Overall impression
I think it's really good, the snowpack structure in the Allgäu is better than further inland, but still extremely difficult to assess, as stable and unstable layers are often very close to each other at high altitudes. At the moment I'm still a bit cautious when it comes to steep gullies etc.
