30 cm fresh snow
Variations of snow cover

The base is still poor, but that is now improving. The ridges and crests were blown off before the snowfall, but the hollows and gullies are filled with okayish snow. Fresh snow covers everything with a light NW wind.

Powder snow

Cold blower. Partially lightly wind-treated. Not at all or only slightly bound.

Risks

North West North-West

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

Hard base plus drift snow certainly not ideal, but not really problematic in the domed, less steep terrain. Sharks were the greater danger.

Overall impression

Better

We used the calm before the big storm to check out the situation. Conclusion: few people when the lifts were almost fully operational, little visibility, less wind than expected. First faceshot of the season. Ass-cold snow on the knees makes you happy.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
