Above 1200 m now reliable snow depth with a layer of fresh snow, below only fresh snow on a thin layer

Good powder - the 15 cm of fresh snow came today with less wind than yesterday. Every now and then a sleet thunderstorm.

Risks

in the Grünten area as moderate, possibly considerable in places in the upper area. Attention !!! However, this does not apply to the entire Allgäu. Above 1800 m the LWS should be classified as considerable throughout. The drift snow accumulations (ridges, hollows, gullies) are much more difficult to spot with a new layer of fresh snow. These can become critical tomorrow on the first Blue Bird after the fresh snow even with a small additional load. So be careful in the outback!

So it can go on - finally there is the longed-for precipitation in the form of snow - resulting in "fun in the powder"

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
