The SLF indicates above-average snow conditions compared to the long-term average. I can't confirm this, but it's probably due to the irregular distribution. Some of it has blown away and you definitely have to expect stone contact from time to time. However, overall it is certainly better than in many other regions.

Snow quality

There was a lot of wind, so most of it had a thin lid. But it didn't bother me too much, it was still nice to ride.

Risks

North

Wind intensity: High (40 – 60 km/h)

Drift snow was certainly the main problem, it blew a lot near the crest. In the steeper sections, there were also small slabs of drift snow, but there were no major releases to be seen.

Overall impression

Worse

Nice day with leftovers before the big drought comes.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
