Snow report Central Switzerland, 03/30/2014

There is nothing to criticize about the snow conditions. You can still get down well everywhere - without coming into contact with stones.

Snow quality

Broken ass in the morning, sulz in the afternoon. But it doesn't really matter. It's all plowed up anyway. Even the turning gap is reminiscent of a potato field after the harvest.

Risks

The danger of avalanches is currently mainly in the afternoon. The warm temperatures - it felt like 15 degrees at 2000 meters - are probably the birthplace of wet snow avalanches.

If you want to have fun, you'll have to switch to the slopes for better or worse. They are in perfect condition. Now, of course, the big question is: Is that it for freeriding this season? I'm not giving up hope yet. After all, April does what it wants. And the Titlis is still open until the end of May.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
