Exposition

North North-Eas North-West

Snow condition

5 cm fresh snow
Blown backs

Mies. Unfortunately, there is really little snow in the valley basin. Nothing at all in the forest and high altitudes. You also have to look at the middle alpine meadows. It doesn't work without contact with the enemy.

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne
Hard, pressed snow
Powder snow

You can still find powder in sheltered areas, but much of it is rutted or hard underneath.

Risks

Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)

At the altitude I was traveling at, there were hardly any avalanche problems. The danger from ground-rock-rock contact is the biggest problem.

Overall impression

Equal

I explored the area a bit in the morning. Despite the lack of snow, I had fun and the weather with the pronounced inversion was also quite impressive on the mountain. But we really need snow to finally get a base here. At the moment, there are only a few sensible options here.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
