Exposition
Snow condition
Mountain pine fields are still open even on the north side, while there was almost nothing on the south side before. This severely limits the possible downhill options. Forest tracks are reasonably rideable but quite uneven and there is still a lot of wood lying around
Snow quality
Nice powder, champagne was not due to a bit of wind and too warm. But it got colder and colder during the snowfall
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
I was only out and about in the busy variant terrain near the forest. I couldn't see any avalanches being triggered there today. The next few days with better visibility and old snow problems will be critical
Overall impression
Unfortunately, people can't wait until enough fresh snow has fallen, and so most of the lines were already slipping at 5cm in the morning. I went up at lunchtime, when it was mostly 30cm+ in the still untracked variants. Only 2*, as good skiable terrain was very limited.
