It goes down the piste into the valley. Next to it, only a few local experts find hidden, shady snow paths to make a nice turn.

Summer snow
Jelly snow

From 10 a.m. onwards, it is already firn in sunny locations up to altitudes above 3000 m. In north-facing shady locations, it remains dry and light above 2000 m, but not low forever.

Diurnal warming

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

At high altitudes, the snow cover in the warm fields on the Steinplatte actually drops to the ground. As it is heavy snow, it will stop so quickly. We have only observed it but fortunately have not found out how it can be triggered.

A great day with surprisingly good snow in the classics and good spring slush in the huckout area.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
