Snow condition

3 von 5 Sterne

From yesterday to today it snowed about 30cm of cold snow on the mountain in Saalbach, unfortunately again with strong winds, so that you had to try your luck in wind-protected terrain, but there it was really fine.the rain and the warm temperatures at the beginning of the week have unfortunately severely affected the "base" but the problem with getting through should be solved with the new snow.

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne

The snow has fallen cold and where it was sheltered from the wind it is of the finest quality, otherwise it is wind-pressed and under tension.

Risks

Extreme caution and restraint are once again the order of the day, as the large quantities of fresh snow have fallen with a lot of wind onto the crusted old snow cover.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

The overall impression, however, is very positive--> the new snow is very fluffy and if you're not looking for the alpine, you'll find very nice runs with enough snow even below 1800m

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
